Absolutely cannot wait to see pics of this.

It's not a Walking Dead figure so we should be seeing pics pretty soon. :lol

Just kidding. For all we know, the wait could rival that of Hot Toys. Sure, it's a cool-looking cyborg, so it should be right up ThreeZero's alley but it's of a character from a 25-year-old cult American movie.

I think some are concerned because ThreeZero's ED may have been slightly underscaled.
slightly?...

i thought they were in another scale. like 1/10. 2014 ed is like twice or thrice bigger than robocop. a human/robot/cyborg figure can literally go under his belly.
threezero ED surely is much smaller.

(see the human/hen droids walking together on the background)

(pictures 3 and 4are from members in threezero ED thread)

2014 ed209 can fit a person inside, like an apu or star craft's goliath.
3zero did not scale it in 1:6.

ps.

i hate that movie. i hate that design. robofaphands sux.

Well, I'm not going to fault ThreeZero for not making a true 1/6-scale ED from such a crappy movie. :lol It would need to be about 2 feet tall. At some point, ThreeZero just said **** it.

True, I think the conversation went " *** it, let's just do it half assed"

that would be fine, until they went and called it a 1/6 scale figure. it's fine if it isn't proper scale, just don't misrepresent your product and say that it is something that it's not. just state the proper scale size.

We've all seen the prototype pics but until someone places a production RoboCop figure next to an ED, it's hard to tell just how badly ThreeZero goofed. Anyway, I'll be much more upset if RoboCain is 12.5 inches tall.

If its not his height it'll be something else...it always is..

I don't think the Robocop remake is any worse than either of the original sequels.

I would agree with that point about robocop 3 however i think robocop 2 is a better movie then the robocop remake. At least it had a sense of humour like the first and featured one of the most iconic and complex robot designs in cain. Its not a great movie by any means but the special effects, humour and fights scenes save it and elevate it above the remake for me.

The robocop remake on the other hand was instantly forgettable and featured no redeeming qualities at all or memorable lines just another attempt by hollywood to rake in the cash with no foresight or thought attached to it. I remember thinking about the remake ' this is going to be bad' but my brother kinda forced me into watching it so i thought id give it a chance. All watching it did however was highlight to me how good the original was compared to it. I mean even the way they killed off murphy in the remake was lame. A bomb....how dramatic..

I agree that the remake wasn't particularly memorable, but I thought it was a serviceable action movie, and Michael Keaton and Gary Oldman were good in it. Of course it's not going to touch the original, but I didn't hold its lineage against it when I rented it.

Agreed. Robocop apparently just wasn't conducive to being a series of films (or TV shows). The remake wasn't stellar but I'd go so far as to say it was better than Robocop 2 and 3.

this scene alone from robocop 2 makes it better then the whole script from the robocop remake....:lol
