The combination of sculpted/rooted hair looks better on Sansa than Danaerys because the color is a better match. Also this Sansa figure feels like such a better deal considering the costumes.

That's for sure.

I bet at the end of the day the figure edition sizes are the same... Sansa might even be lower.

But ultimately depends how many they sell. They may never make all 1500 of the edition.

That said, I am kind of rethinking my position of this new Daenerys. I really want one on the shelf and I don't know if I want to wait another year or more for a PO and then another year after that for the figure. Just waiting for in-hand pictures to see what this all-white Dani actually looks like, size and all.

I thought about buying new Dany too. But I already have the older one and I'm not sure having two different Dany figures I'm not even satisfied with is better than one. Especially when I have to kick in another $200.

Oh yeah, if I had the blue one I would wait for one of the more ornate outfits. But I am Dani-less. And the all-white gown could look striking against my all-black Crow Snow. Either Dani certainly pops on the shelf...

Yeah the white gown will really pop in your collection and break up the monotony of your GOT collection.

A lot of these modern franchises have a darker and grittier color palette like with MCU and DCEU - even though I already have 3 Henry Cavil Superman Hot Toys l, I am considering a 4th - the other Justice League one where his suit is a brighter shade of blue and red.

Hopefully people will keep there eyes out for any in hand photos of this Daenerys. I wonder when it will ship? Wasn't it supposed to be in stock? Anyone get shipping notice yet?

Yeah, the more I look at this, the more I'm convinced this release was somewhat hastily thrown together. Really feels like it was assembled on the fly. I mean, it's not like they're a company that shies away from hard work ... like or hate their head sculpts, their costume work, particularly throughout this line, is almost always complex and layered and very well researched. As far as I'm concerned, the effort and craftsmanship they've put into the clothing of their GOT figures is top of the line. So to see them put out a figure with such simple cut and sew, using what appears to be the same sculpt ... just feels a little ... rushed.

Certainly hope she makes it Stateside before the end of the year. Would be a great one to end 2021 on. I have very high hopes for Sansa after the great releases that Tormund and Jaime turned out to be.

Fingers crossed. I did feel that the Sansa proto was weaker than their Tormund, Arya S8 and Jaime protos, so I hope they put the extra work into her and didn't just do what they did with the newest Dani figure.

Mine is due by Tuesday so I’ll post pics as soon as I get her. Kinda worrying that there are no blogger pics. Feels like this is sneaking under the radar. TZ’s overall track record with female figures ain’t great.

Agreed, but the last Arya was a solid release, and they did improve the V2 Dani from the V1, so they are making progress on the female figures. It seems like the GOT line is still performing well, so hopefully they're noticing that and put the effort into making Sansa as good as she can be.
