With the cease and desist letters that were sent out, I was hoping the announcement of the licensed figs would be like opening the floodgates, but all we have gotten are rough prototypes of Merle and Michonne's pets. A little contact with the fans to update them us on how things are going would be nice at least.

Yeah, I'm rolling ahead with my customs, too. Which isn't to say I won't totally pick these up when they're ready to start rolling off the line. Especially if the asking price ends up being as low as they've said ...

Prototypes were just shown in July .
It was said that they were early and still needed revisions.

Actually the protos were shown at ComiCon in July and Gimbat has said in this thread that they were hoping to put them up for order in Q4 of this year. It's now Q4. I think some of us were just hoping for some updates.

Exactly. We waited two FULL years for Sideshow's General Grievous from when he was first shown to just be able to order him. It will likely be close to THREE years when he actually starts to ship.

Three months since SDCC is nothing compared to that. We'll likely see some kind of teaser/etc around next week when the show comes back... at least I hope.
