Looks like they at least got rid of the exposed joint pin issue like their new Mirror Lion-o.
Thanks man. Lot of work but I got there. The magnets I don't have a picture of and I don't want to take him apart again. I drilled into the thigh, down and out a bit from the inside, being careful to not go too far and come out the skin. I did 2 and that was enough to take the weight of the claw. A little super glue was used to hold them in place. The ones in the claw I had to drill in direct to add them, then filled the top with putty and sanded to hide them. Since I repainted I could have done the same thing with the thigh really.Holy crap! That looks amazing! Great job Booshman! Can you show the magnet areas? I was hoping to do the same for the claw shield. How did you hide them?
The pegs I covered in Aves Apoxie Sculpt, then sanded and painted. It looks better and the layers of paint seem to be holding but the flexibility of the base plastic means that over extending or bending in the wrong direction could crack or dislodge them. What kind of putty did you use to fill in the exposed joint pegs and the thigh after installing the magnets?
Nice work Jim. Curious what paint did you use? I was always thinking of repainting Jaga too. Thanks in advance.Started on a ghost Jaga repaint since I had an extra body.
