Shouldn't they be able to tell if that's his arm or not? :monkey1

I was wondering that as well? Fingerprints being one... blood type, DNA???

Weird story... and even though its inappropriate reading this line in the article got me thinking maybe Cameron's camp is taking out potential lawsuits?

Perry, 56, is best known for his work on Thundercats, Silverhawks, and the 1985 comic book series Time Spirits, which experienced a resurgence in media exposure last winter due to uncanny similarities it shared with James Cameron's Avatar.

Is this the same Steve Perry who wrote all those Alien and Predator books?

Nope, different one...

He's still missing, but sounds like he had some problems in his life. :(

Well, apparently it isn't as fast as in CSI... :wink1:

Yep, I remember reading this article... check it out:

Wow... that is a pretty compelling rip-off argument.

Oh, and in reference to the CSI i was thinking this thread was older... didn't realize it started on the 23rd :duh

Damn, this sounds like something you would see on Dateline NBC.

I would also think they would need something on file to compare the results to. Whether its his DNA or close blood relatives to check for similarities. I think it does also take around 1-2 weeks to do it properly. I can't remember the exact time frame...
