Anyone getting the figs?
I think they look a lot like Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet.

I wanted to see this in Wednesday. But I will be attending a meeting. Thursday is out as well so it is Friday for me.

I'll pick up the figures sometime. I love the look of the whole film. And NECA seemed to have done a great job on them.

I saw this awhile ago and it seems really interesting. I will be seeing this film. It looks great.
For those on the fence about it check out this clip:

It was soulless.

I expected a somewhat deep, adult story. But what I got was nothing more then an average kids film (not Pixar) with a bit more punch. I'll copy and paste my review on another site...

I really didnt like this at all. It was dull and soulless. Which is ironic, because that is what the whole flick was about.

Just watch the short. Its shorter, no crappy cliche dialouge...it has the same beginning, and ending. The exact same ending.

Honestly, why was this PG-13 anyway? There was no violence in it, it was hardly scary...for a 5 year old maybe...but anyone older then that....eh.

The music was good, and I loved the designs. But everything felt so blurry, and kinda video gameish.

The look was better in the short film. 5/10

Loved the designs, the music, the tone, but the actual movie was disapointing. It really made no sense at all. I actually tried following the story (it was hard), but it just didn't make any sense at all. Which was sad, because I was enjoying every about the film except the plot.

Plus it seemed like The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, and Terminator all rolled into one. When 9 looked at the giant machine tower, I turned to my buddy and said that Frodo was going to go to Mordor again......:monkey3

Dang, it's disappointing to read these reviews. I was looking forward to seeing this. :(

Yup.
The movie = fail.
NICE visuals and Stichpunk designs, but the plot fell short at the last 1/3rd of the flick.

Oh well, at least the figures rock!
