the dolphins may go winless and lose their perfect season record to the Pats this year....yikes.

Well, technically they cant "loose" the record. It cant be beaten, only tied.

Dolphins would still have the undefeated season along with the pats.

Actually, technically, they would lose it. The Dolphins went 14-0 with 3 wins in the playoffs, making them 17-0. The Patriots would be 16-0 and if they win out would finish 19-0. They wouldn't lose the undefeated title, but in my book 19-0 is better than 17-0.

True, but they still wont lose the record.

Its not like a rushing record where the number of yards are surpassed there for the record is broken. This is simply having an undefeated season. The record is not "most games won in a season". So no, they cant lose the record, it will simply be shared by the Dolphins and Pats.

The funniest thing for me is that I am a fan of the Patriots and also the Dolphins, and to be a fan of a team that is undefeated and one that has yet to win is pretty hilarious to me. :lol

I hope the Pats go 16-0 to shut the 72 Phins up and also hope the Phins go 0-16 just to add that cherry on top.

The poetic irony would be amazing.

Though the Dolphins wont have the only winless season on record. The Bucks did it in the 70's, 14 game season.

The Dolphins would share a winless season with the Bucks and an undefeated one with the Pats.

It would be just too funny. We'd never have to hear the arrogance from the 72 Phins again.

I was pulling for Tim, glad he got it.

With that said, he may have been the first Sophomore, but Knowshon is the next!! Go Dawgs!!

HOW 'BOUT THEM DAWGS! :rock
Sorry Josh! :D
Happy for your dude though. He gave GA a tough time too!

I'm glad for the kid. He's a beast on the field and seems to be a great kid. I'm not a Gator fan but I didn't mind seeing him win. The kid from Hawaii wasn't all that impressive seeing as the level of teams they play aren't that high. McFadden will tear up the NFL next year the same way Peterson is doing as was mentioned. These types of backs are guys who just put up crazy numbers year after year. I have to say though I REALLY wanted the kid from Mizzou to win but knew it was a crazy long shot. MU will be back next year as strong as they where this year but better and don't sleep on Daniel he'll be a star as a NFL QB. He's got the things that make you want him behind center.

Colt may have not played high powered teams but that kid is prepared to be in the NFL. He will be a much better NFL QB then either of the two QBs. He is a insanely accurate passer and gets the ball out very quick the two biggest keys to being successful in the NFL. I don't think he should have had a shot this year as he was out to many games, but if he had last years numbers he would should have been a lock but Tebow would have probably still won. Like I said the media has a major love for him, its kinda sad. He is a overrated as a QB. He may have ran for 22 TDs but most were all inside the 10, they basicly used him as a running back. He is actually a better RB then a QB i think. Lots of the media say how he can throw the ball good but he's no more then a middle of the road passer. The worst part is listening to a lot of the media is he has already won next years and this season isn't even over.

i just wonder if Colt is a product of the system like Timmy Chang.

The difference is how they throw the ball though. Chang was a product of the system. I wouldn't say that Chang was nearly as quick with the ball or as accurate. Remember that Colt has not planned to goto Hawaii, he made some mistakes and had to leave Colorado. Systems will get a QB lots of attempts and maybe completions and TDs, but it won't get that quick release and accuracy.

The biggest thing going against Tebow is that he is just starting out. This was his first year as starter and most of the rest of the team were brand new. He is a great passer, maybe not as much of a high octane passer like Colt.. But a great passer nontheless. He gets the job done, and I think he has found a way to do so without depending on his running ability as much.

Tebow should have a fantastic year next season if we get some more offensive weapons in our arsenal. He should be in a solid groove by then as well and won't get the road jitters again. All in all I think he did magnificent work all year round considering his status and the injury.

I know my opinion is a bit skewed being a Gator fan, but I think Tebow deserved the award. :duff
