I have this Nazi T-Becker figure today was playing with it and the real 1/6 button came out, the broken strings still attached to the suit. The button has 2 tiny holes for the string i don't think normal needle can pass tru.

Any tips on how to sew the button back so it fits nicely? I'm not a good tailor.

Push the thread through the holes on the button ie: thread the button like you would a needle.

Then thread the needle with the thread coming out of one hole in the button.

Then stick the needle through the jacket where you want the button to be. You will have the button on one side of the jacket and the needle on the inside.

Take the needle off the thread. Use a good length of thread and leave the button loose on the outside of the jacket.

Repeat with the string coming out of the other button hole-thread the needle and sew through the jacket where the other thread went through and remove the needle again.

You will have the button loose on the outside of the jacket and 2 lengths of string on the inside. Pull the button tight and tie a knot on the inside of the jacket.

Trim excess thread.

That is the way I sew tiny buttons on tiny jackets without having to buy a new needle and the screw around trying to thread the tiny needle I just spent good money on.
