I think we were just speculating/hoping they connect, I don't think we ever got an official word.

I watched the video again and while implied Klauder never actually said they'd interlock. He said: "All the turtles we are doing will have a similar base that looks like a piece of rooftop behind him you can pose the others so when you collect all four you'll have a really impressive display."

Sucks a little but makes sense since some are only buying one or two...
