You should try taking photos with the Nintendo 3ds camera. I usually do it with my 3ds in one hand and set the lighting with my phone on the other.

Definitely worth it to get the set, I got mine from the Toy Source, looks like Leonardo is sold out individually from almost all the online retailers.
