question for the TMNT fanatics here, i bow to your knowledge and humbly submit this query-

the red colored shredder and foot as seen in the neca set, have a old mirage issue and he is the same color on the cover but when i flipped thru "the works" vol 1 recently at barnes and noble i see he is not colored the same, he and foot is in traditional ninja black. was there other full color releases of the comics where he is colored as the covers? or was the neca set just based on the old school mirage cover colors?

dunno if that made sense. :p

I'm not sure you can quote me, but I believe that The Works coloring was done 'incorrectly'. There seems to be some dissent among TMNT fans in that regard.

Have to check but look for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Book 1 by First Publishing. That's the trade that was released in color in the 90s.
In that one I believe he was colored in red out fit along with the other TMNT covers in color.

Donatello looks great! :rock

It's handy that he's my fave of the four, but I may have to settle for him on his own for a while anyway, seeing how expensive these geezers are.

This is me, looking at my display while thinking, "Hmmm... Where am I going to display these 1/4 scale Ninja Turtles?..."
