On a whim I bought the SH Figuarts Leonardo since Barnes and Noble had 25% for Educator Discounts this week. I absolutely love it. The mix of plastic and diecast and the overall feel, it looks like it jump off of the TV screen when I was a kid. I immediately bought Michaelangelo from Amazon this morning.

You're just being modest. To each of their own these Revoltech bad boys have been highly sought after because of the initial limited run. Really cool figures with unique bases. Glad you enjoyed them.Not as cool as everyones Neca and Mondo turtles, but received my first 2 Revoltech turtles. Other 2 are on their way.

My wife got me Leo and Donny for christmas, come payday and mikey and Raph will be on the way. They are my favorite Turtles now out of the collection.
My wife and I are watching Out Of The Shadows for the first time. I have to admit it's pretty hard to stomach. I feel saddened to see beloved characters from my childhood portrayed like this. I put off watching it for so long because a really good friend, and diehard shell head, said he didn't like it. This movie is ridiculous.

Its a beautiful figure too look at and hold, nice weight to it, articulation is average, packaging is top notch except getting him out of it, that's a chore

It's like only 1% better than the 2014 film too just for the fan service, but even that is so rushed and flimsy that it doesn't deter from the lackluster plot and rushed character development.
Thankfully it pretty much under performed so bad at the box office that they're stopping this series of films and hopefully they'll go with a fresh new take in a reboot down the line. I have a feeling it'll be animation next, but anything will be better as long as Platinum Dunes isn't involved.

I enjoy both of the new films. Personally liked the 2014 film better. Out of the shadows probably had a bigger budget but I don't like their version of Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady. There's humor much like the first movie but somehow it's trying to be too kid friendly or something like that. Just very dumbed down humor. Maybe it was trying to be more 80s toon tone.
Was a bit sad to know there's not going to be a 3rd movie. Was curious if they would tell a story that doesn't involve the Shredder as the main villain.
