Nice! I’m happy with mine, even though he’s kinda being dwarfed at present.
I’d love to see these guys on store shelves again, along with more modern “old school turtles.” Ghostbusters and Ronin Warriors too. Man, I’m really gonna miss Toys’R’Us. Target and Books-A-Million are about the only places worth going to anymore, around here.
The Walmart here doesn’t carry anything anymore. I don’t think kids even play with toys here.
It went pc and turned into this:
They look awful. The weapon changes are awful. The powers aspect I’ve heard about sounds awful. Splinter is a hamster or gerbil... not really sure which. Shredder is probably going to look even worse.
That’s what happened to TMNT. They went from the amazing CGI series that old school fans and kids alike cherished and adored... to this. Huh? Okay then. See you in five years when the product line fails, ratings tank and the guys in charge are begging Nickelodeon to renew the license agreement.
I disliked the Bay Turtles at first, but it still felt organic enough that I found some enjoyment out of the two films. There is no way in hell I would watch the new show. Or buy the toys. Not even as a kid.
Wait, was Shia in those?
Neither Bay Turtle films compare to the original three 90s films. And the first one is still so damn good. Still, I like the CGI films well enough that I’d be interested in a third. Likely never happen now though.
I might agree with you but the 3rd TMNT film where they go to the past is the worst TMNT movie of all time. Even when I watched it as a kid with all the TMNT hype, I disliked it.Wait, was Shia in those?
