Yea I like the way Chet looks on this one also. More ferocious IMO. Accuracy comes second to coolness for me. I'll wait till it comes out and take a look at it at my LCS. If the paint job and details look anything like the AVP elder, then it can kiss my @$$.

i just saw this piece. and what i will say is this. when u buy something, you have to see the "VALUE"

i dont see any difference between this and all plastic figures that is produced by mcfarlane at much cheaper price.

if this was sold for like 80 bucks, then i would say its okay. FOR 200 BUCKS, i will say "PASS ON IT"

its not worth that much.

but again, sometimes collector can be crazy as me. i bought hot toys predator for like 200 dollars and above. is it worth that much? no, but i bought it anyway, : )

As for accuracy, it sucks too. I will honestly take a much cooler product then a "UBER SUPER ACCURATE VERSION OF SOMETHING" because alot of times, the real thing...well, is quite silly.

The AvP-R Alien is horrible looking, a giant neck that obviously hides the actors, the fleshy shoulders, the fatness, ect....if NECA had some fun with it, and made the neck smaller, gave the Alien more realistic shoulders, then the Alien would've been AWESOME.

But no, the only thing awesome about it is the articulation.

Same with Chet the Predalien. I would've much rather have had a semi accurate one then a cruddy movie accurate one...

Sorry for the rant, I just get annoyed when someone just dismisses a really nice looking product (mcF Alien, Dark Knight HTBatman, Queen) because of a tiny little detail that they forgot, or couldnt add in....eh...

I also think opinions of your fellow collectors really do count. People and share info that you might not know. For example, I had no idea that Wolf's neck area looked so dull and plain looking like he was wearing a mask. And I didn't know it was made of plastic until people were talking about it here. Which lead into not placing the order for it. I feel like if I bought it and found out all that after, I may have regretted it.
