Here's the stage SS used for ref:

Eyeballs rolled back and all!

I see some incredible custom work to do spilling wax on his coat and maybe melting his ears a bit too! He-he...

I really wish they would have gone with the look of where your avatar pauses at. Its just not melty enough. I'm happy they included it though, but I just wish it was meltier.

How is a swastika offensive when it's being worn buy a guy getting his face melted off by the power of God?

It's not like it's glorifying it. This is a villain, getting his comeuppance no less.

Also, as someone else already mentioned, it's inaccurate without it.

I commend Sideshow for having balls enough to put it on the piece, and going for near 100% accuracy. Sideshow is getting better with every piece.

So....SS, if you can do that head...you should...but otherwise, i'm pleased we have a melty in the first place.

However, I think this was LFL's decision.....Hasbro's figure had the same melty stage....

Hey, THE MIKE acualty umm IM mrs. dwing sorta borrowing mr. dwing post name having some fun, until. mr. dwing caught me while he was at work from his computer there. So everyone out there dont think my hubys girly or anything, okay :) :) it just me.

I know. I gathered that but it still amusing to see the conversation occur under dwing's name....its like one of those movies where someone is trying to exercise the demon from their own body. :lol

there needs to be more blood on his face to make it more realistic. Its too white. It works for the movie because its only seconds in the movie you see the white but on the fig. you need more realistic flesh tone melting blood and gore. :) Just my opinion.

I have to agree, it looks great but its definitely a second in time from the transformation. Needs to be made slightly more "realistic" so it can really stand out on the shelves.

Yep, you nailed it WG.

I must say the hatless sculpt looks a bit like George Costanza. :lol

I hope someone can get hi res pics up. Indiana Fett, where are you?

Incredible looking prototype. SS fooled us again by not only giving us a melting head but a Ark.!!!

They may go Sallah, then Marion to bookend the Raiders line.

Indy first, Marion last. Anyway, that's my guess...

Bet Marion comes with the headpiece.

Maybe a repaint if someone is so bold, I don't know if I can get mr. dwing to do his after spending the money on the figurethe way it is. Its soo pricey. But maybe someone will comition to do it if there is a great desire for it. All in All its a freat figure and I like it better than Indy but I was alway for collecting the villians and monsters. As for the previouse topice (the Mike) I dont know how to creat my own posty person so my poor huby has to suffer me using his, soo sad. too bad. :) :)

My god, what's happening.... now people are complaining about the melty head!?

:lol

This always happens.

That full stage melt would be easy enough to make out of clay, there's hardly anything left of the face.

I like the choice. It's all of Toht's creamy goodness running forth.

But if someone wants to sculpt a final stage melty head, hell I'm in for that too!

Here is a question I don't think has been answered yet. How are the Exclusives for Thot and Belloq being packaged? Will the exclusives have a completley different packaging than the regular edition figures or will the exclusive items come in their own packaging and just be bundled with the figures? There is no way they could fit the Idol chamber or the Ark in the same packaing size as Indy.

Just amazing all around on this piece! Love the likeness on both sculpts, melty head kicks ass, and the Ark!! Damn quite impressive piece.

Edit: Gotta be like WG on this people are complaining about the stage of meltyness? :lol

If I could get a hold of a 1:6 skull, I would be more than willing to try!

Been with ya all along EF.:D

No way Marion is a long shot. She'll come with the Medallion IMO and she should, it's a Ravenwood family piece.

I'm sure her sculpt has already been approved, only question is which Marion will they make.
