I've been thinking about picking this up but I'm unsure if this is for me. I would be playing solo, and I would be avoiding the DZ as I'm a casual gamer and don't need to be bringing a team down nor do I need to get my @$$ handed to me over and over again in the DZ. That said it looks like fun, I've never really played a "shooter" before unless you count the Mass Effect franchise as a sort of shooter. For those of you who own it would this be fun for a casual gamer playing solo or should I pass this one by?

It's third-person-over-the-shoulder like mass effect. The weapons, I hear, can be heavily modified (leveled) and you got skills. The only difference is that you don't have members to control. That's where multiplayer comes into play.

I'd consider myself casual, in fact I thought I would suck at a game like this, and have been having a pretty good time. Even if your afraid to bring a team down Id say try most missions with a team. Ive been teaming up with random people and have been getting great results, everybodys healing each other and working as a team surprisingly. I'd imagine the missions are pretty tough alone, with teams we died several times and had to start over. I'm not used to mmo rpgs or whatever this game is considered so the leveling up options are pretty intimidating. I have no Idea if I'm going about it the wrong way. I keep second guessing every loadout I make. Really hope they expand on the story aspect and varying missions, for me personally leveling up is not as satisfying as getting some form of advancement in the story.

- as a side note I'd love to see this form of game with the online coop and in game pvp with a more linear story and environment. I always thought open world and multiple sidemission's were the beginning of the downfall for videogames personally. In all honesty so much time is spent walking from one place to another, and listening to very boring npc that I find it hard to believe people actually prefer this style of game.

I played the beta on PC and got it for PS4 since that's where my friends are.

Ah, yeah. Well, my dual AMD cards are having trouble trying to keeping it at steady 60 FPS rate.

I don't know if it was running at 60fps, but the PS4 feels significantly slower, aiming is much more difficult along with moving around. If it's getting 30fps at all then it's struggling

I haven't had any issues with the PS4 version aside from the occasional audio problem.

I’m not sure, only played both beta’s and the concept seemed similar to me. I did enjoy The Division Beta a lot more though.

It's great. Been playing every night with my brother and 2 other friends. So many options to customize your weapons and characters. We've had some intense battles with the game and other players too.

Its amazing how time goes by when playing this game, played for 4 hours straight. Its really cool just running around collecting stuff to upgrade your gear and weapons.
