Actually the sculpts are pretty good, just not really accented by the "real" hair.
Balsquat, Starsky & Hutch was a top 70's crime drama, killed by the anti-violence campaigns of the time.

Yeah, nice sculpts on those. Overall not bad custom figures either. Maybe a little pricey but a lot of time can go into a custom figure. $350 a pop isn't unheard of.

I don't like the way the hair looked though. Maybe if it were futzed with a bit it would look better.

Those are nice custom but I think Starky must to have a sculpted hair instead of real hair, It´s difficult to capture his hair in the good way with a real hair.

The price is excessive but the number of these customs is very limited.

You have to also understand that it appears the seller has fashioned the boys after how they appeared in the pilot movie. [for you younguns a pilot movie used to be aired to gauge the interest in a show or property. if it did well then it was likely that a season, or at least a half season of episodes would be ordered.]
He does seem to have forgotten that Starsky was left handed though.

Those 2 figs just look like a giant mess to me... cheap-o dragon bodies. Crazy huge sweaters and some mop-top hair.

But, obviously I know nothing as they are selling like gang-busters Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.
