Might as well throw Deep Space Nine on there

You don't seriously like those crappy offshoot tv series? Atlantis, et al? :sick
Clearly not a popular opinion, but of what I saw, yeah, those Stargate shows look pretty awful. So is that awful Star Wars CG cartoon :monkey4

I kind of liked Voyager, but not Deep Space Nine. Of course, it isn't fair to judge because that show came out on the tail end of the TNG run.

DS9 played for 7 years and has one of the better stories from all the Star Trek series.
Regarding longevity, that 2 and 1/2 Men show lasted seven years. I guess that means it is good?

But I can't argue with it having better stories. If a fan of Spawn says it, then that it must be.

So this thread has changed from the "10 Worst Sci-Fi TV Shows Ever" to "Random Highly Acclaimed Sci-Fi Shows That I Don't Like" :monkey4

I love Star Trek, I just could not get past season two of DS9.

Same here. It was a show that never grew on me. I did like Voyager though. Someone should throw Enterprise into the 'bad' mix though. I just did not like that show.

Nice to see Cleopatra 2525 was on that list (such a bad show). I only caught parts of it because it came on prior to 'Jack of All Trades' (which was a must-see for me as I've always liked much of the cheese ball stuff Bruce Campbell has been in).

The Far Out Space Nuts is the only one I remember watching on Saturday mornings when I was a kid.

I think I saw a couple of episodes of Cleopatra 2525. That's back when Robert Tapert was producing a bunch of syndicated shows like Xena and Hercules.

I not only have seen all of those, I actually worked on one of them and been on the set of another. MANTIS was a cool idea - in the pilot he had a much cooler costume and it was much more subversive. But the network wanted it more kid-friendly and suckage began with episode 2.

Viper was the other one - comic genius Howard Chaykin was a writer on the show.

Too bad you guys missed the best part of DS9. The show didn't get interesting until season three. The Federation / Dominion War was awesome. Some of the best ship to ship battles outside of First Contact. :rock

Yep never seen any of them either and by the looks of it that's a good thing. :lol

Hmmmm....I'll give it it's day in court then. I'll DVR it and check it out.
