So you guys had your glider and figure ship separately? Strange. Mine came in separate boxes but were packaged together in one shipper.

Mine arrived together in separate boxes, one all wrapped up in plastic and the other not at all. Weird.

OSK sent me two separate tracking numbers and they both had their own estimated delivery dates when they cleared Chicago on the 6th. The glider updated today and is in Louisville, but the figure did not update. I hope they show up together but they have always had different delivery dates, glider was scheduled for 10th and the figure was the 11th. With the ice and snow we just got hit with I'm not sure when they will arrive now.

I also ordered from OSK. The figure arrived yesterday. The tracking for the glider is showing it's still in China. Both were sent same day. I wish the were sent boxed together.

It definitely seems that Toys Era has elevated their game considerably!

So can you take a stab at describing the odor of this figure? It seems like quite a few people have mentioned the smell. I’m sure it I will dissipate over time so that’s a good thing.

Thanks Omega and I agree, Toys Era has definitely upped the quality level as of late.

As for the odor (which has faded considerably already), it seemed to be a strong vinyl smell mixed with something else. All I know is that I had an immediate flashback to cleaning up my daughter's projectile vomit when she was sick with the flu many years ago.

He just came in today, which was a surprise. He went to the wrong part of the state, and disappeared from tracking for a weak.

Great figure. Def. has a rubber/plastic smell that likely will fade away after a week. I find him scaled pretty well for 1/6 (HT seems to be over-sizing their figures more and more lately.)

If it's not an inch from my nose I can't smell it at all now. I think it's definitely a case of the packaging not allowing the off-gases to dissipate. Now that it's been sitting out in the open for a few hours, not an issue. I thought it best to follow up my previous post so no one takes my vomit smell comment too seriously.

My glider arrived yesterday but the figure may not be here till Monday, but it has given me a chance to really appreciate the craftsmanship of the glider! This thing is amazing, the details are over the top! They could have just done a solid plastic static glider and figure combo and we would have been happy with that, but this thing is a work of art!

Yep. You snooze you lose on almost any third party figure. Especially the popular ones. Most retailers offer a discounted price for preorders and then once the figure releases the price goes up. Been that way for a while.
