Here's my look at the Toys Power 1/6th scale figure CT-005 Liam Neeson as Jimmy Conlon from Run All Night.

The head sculpt isn't 100%, but the paint app is pretty good, and even surpasses some of Sideshow's recent offerings in that area. The clothing and accessories aren't too bad either. Not a bad deal for around $115 retail price.

Is Liam stingy with his likeness? Why hasn't anyone made licensed versions of his kickass characters?

Apparently the only movie he's ever given approval for his likeness is The Phantom Menace because Lucasfilm ask all the actors to give their likeness for figures. But he's approved no other movie.

Clash of the Titans; NECA had a Zeus sculpted and ready to go, but the movie performed poorly and as such they didn't invest in tooling anymore than Perseus. A smart move.

You would also think that he would have had to have signed likeness away for Batman. It's big enough that it would make sense the contracts had it within them.

Mattel did a Ra's al Ghul figure of him from Batman Begins. But only one, probably because it was such a hum-drum character design. I would be surprised if there was much interest in figures from his non-Star Wars and Batman films from potential producers of merchandise. Sure, Taken was pretty popular as a movie, but it's not the kind of thing you would expect to see toys or t-shirts from. And apart from that. . .? Clash of the Titans, as mentioned, didn't take off as a toy line.

1/6th scale Batman collectors are desperate for a Ras al Gul figure! Considering Hot Toys has pretty much made all the other characters except for Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson, I can only think of licensing being the issue there. I think there is certainly demand from consumers!
