Looks like it might be good.
It's got a lot of little nuances and throwbacks from the first one, but with the 20 years later spin. I haven't seen a bad Danny Boyle film yet, although I haven't seen all of his work.

Serious nostalgia track for sure. I remember being young enough to be tremendously excited about the sex scene in the first film when I saw it on video. I would sneak it back on when I got the chance.

Yep. Salma Hayek's dance scene in From Dusk Till Dawn, partial recordings of softcore Shannon Tweed movies at the ends of various VHS tapes, my brothers small magazine stash hidden under the drawers of his computer desk, I remember it all well.
I'd have to really think about any of mine. I just remember when I had the opportunity being home alone, and switching to the Spice channel over and over and once in awhile I'd get .4 seconds of the signal coming through... and I'd have the VHS recording.
Kids today have it so easy.
EDIT: I just remembered one. When I was heavy into wrestling, my Uncle recorded WCW's Superbrawl PPV since he had an illegal cable box. It was like a five hour tape and it recorded this stripper special unbeknownst to him. Good stuff, but only topless

Ha! Can definitely relate. Trainspotting was one of the first r rated movies I saw in the theater, and it really stuck with me. I look forward to this one.

International trailer, with some new dialogue and scenes.
I've been trying to find it online for weeks It's been out in the UK since January.
It's gotten okay reviews, but nothing stellar. It doesn't surprise me since it's got too much to live up to.
