From there the ball starts rolling on and they start dating.
So she is a new gf with her own background/story who is more then just a new gf

I am sorry but this whole you should expect it to be bad is bollocks.
The first one was not that bad, it was actually good. The second one was awful, but Bay promised us that this time it would be different and he had learnt from his mistakes. So we go back for a third instalment only to find more slapstick comedy, and all the annoying human characters are back, but not only that, Bay throws in even more annoying characters like Ken Jeong and Malkovich.
honestly most of the movie was a bad comedy on par with Police Academy mission to Moscow.

Bay lied! and your thoughts are exactly how I felt watching this turd supposedly called transformers

I don't think it's that her acting was terrible, like someone said previously, she was just kind of there. Looked upset when she should, looked scared when she should, etc. Nothing really stood out to say fantastic acting.

I think it comes down to the fact that she wasn't giving a ton of script to really work with.

Still havent seen it lol, but I can't wait. people need to stop going to these movie's expecting kinf speech is all im saying. It's a story about robots dishing it out but I must admit if I see sam's stupid mom and dad get more screentime then the transformers I will flip out.

They got more screentime than Megatron.

I wasn't expecting the kings speech or anything better storywise than the last two. The robots were great, it was just too much time spent on new characters trying to be funny, the same robot sidekick humor and that kind of thing.

It's entertaining for sure. It just could have been so much better if some of the nonsense was cut out.

Well, I enjoyed it quite a bit.

What I liked:
-All the action. If Bay knows how to do anything, it's action. This movie certainly delivered in its action. Some of the best yet this summer.
-There were stakes in this film. It was beat the decepticons, or be enslaved. It worked for me.
-Optimus Prime. He kicked some real ass, which was good to see. Sure, he may have been overpowered, but it was great to see him laying down the law on the battlefield.
-The eye candy. Rosie Huntington is hotter than hell. Not much can be said about her acting, because as others said, she's just there. But, she was a suitable replacement for Megan Fox.
-The stakes. There were real consequences to actions. On both the human/Autobots and the Decepticons side.
-The plot/story. Not that there was a lot of it. But, what little there was, it worked for me. This is a movie based on an effing toy line, so I don't need much of a plot for something like this. I'm not expecting a great narrative or plot.


What I didn't like
-The humor. There was much too much of it. Some of it was okay, but a lot of it was just slapstick. A lot of it was forced.
-Wasted screen time with unnecessary characters. Ken Jeong and John Malkovich were not needed in this film. At all.
-Megatron was a bum. What the heck? Megatron is supposed to be a badass. He was a damn hobo in this. Made him seem like a push over. It was a shame.


Overall, I enjoyed it. All I was expecting was entertainment, and that's what I got out of it.

I'd give it 3 stars out of 5. I enjoyed it. A lot.
