I'm not really sure what happened in the last one.

I remember it being the only movie I was sorely tempted to walk out of. I really was on the verge of it, if I hadn't gone with my buddy, because it wasn't just mindless, it was legitimately boring. There was so much action that made no sense, and it just went on and on and on.

They better not get Bay back for the new movies. If they want to make a Transformers Cinematic Universe, just like Marvel and DC, then they have to actually tie together.

They should scrap everything, and, rather than create a Transformers Cinematic Universe, utilize all of their properties for a Hasbro Cinematic Universe, to an extent. Get good teams behind GI Joe, TMNT, and Transformers and you're golden. They could do cool stuff like IDW has in the comics, but they seem content with their ****ty, billion dollar movies. I probably shouldn't give them any ideas. We'll probably get Optimus Prime and Megatron being haunted by a Ouji board and the GI Joes in a "whodunnit" Clue scenario.:lol

Loved 1, hated 2, and 3 and 4 were just ok...wish he would make them more serious like the end of part 1.

I was initially angry when this series started out, with Bay at the helm bastardizing, trivializing, or outright crapping on everything I ever loved about Transformers. Then, I became cynical and annoyed with the whole thing. I'm currently at the stage of near total indifference. Unless they change the approach fundamentally (and there's no reason to do so based on box office receipts), I'm about as interested in this as I am in the Twilight or Paul Blart series. I didn't bother watching the last one, only saw bits and pieces of the 2nd and 3rd ones because my wife rented it.

Regarding a Hasbro-verse, I'm pretty sure Ninja Turtles wouldn't fit, as they weren't produced by Hasbro but Playmates. They're owned primarily (I think) by Mirage Studios, though there have been so many iterations now that I don't know who owns what. If we were to see a Hasbro-verse, it would probably be the ****** movie version of Transformers teaming up with the ****** movie version of GI Joe as they travel to a world where ****** movie versions of My Little Pony and Cabbage Patch Kids live. And those movies would probably make about a trillion dollars.
