I'm going either early Wednesday or later at night, waiting to hear from one of my boys. Either way, I'm pumped, pure movie fun coming :rock

One of my favorite themes from movies is the Optimus Prime theme and I love the new, more epic rendition of it on the ROF score, a nice compliment to the more sentimental version on the first film.

Just got back from the film...despite what the critics say, I thought it was a pretty good movie...by far better than the first and a lot of good laughs

Yeah, glad to hear "ordinary folk" enjoying this movie. To me, it's critic proof. I Loved the first and am sure I'll at least enjoy the second. More robots, more battles, and from what I hear, Starscream and Megatron have more of their "classic" relationship. I want to see Starscream undercutting Megatron and being the backhanded weasel that I love.

Just saw it and was Dissapointed. Not crap but an average sequel. After loving the 1st one I was so looking forward to this.

Micheal Bay sometimes less is more. Just to much thrown in on this one. Didn't care about the human characters at all. John Tutturo (sp?) was one of the only bright spots. And with the action it was hard to keep track of who was who with the shaky cam and close ups, especially since most of the robots weren't properly introduced. The 1st one also had a better story to. Oh well, it is what it is.

Anyone who shouts racist about the twins, is probably a crazy PC freak.

:clap :clap :clap

The sort of people that complain about Skids & Mudflap being racist stereotypes likely find everything offensive in some way or other and I pay no attention to idiots like that.

SO, buddy of mine had a press pass, so I went with him to the Paramount Lot to see it yesterday. OMG, it was SOOOO long, I think I fell asleep like 3 different times. All I can say is that if you liked the first, you'll probably like this one. Was it good? GOD no. Was it entertaining? I would say so. TONS of plot holes and stuff that didn't really make sense.

At one point, I swear they were fighting in the SAME location in the desert that they were in the first film. Then they went to the SAME location that Indiana Jones found the holy grail.....the set locator didn't have much of a job on this film. The fight scenes are longer and I could actually see what they were doing this time around. A couple of transformers show up for about 30 seconds and then are never seen again, which I found weird. And the
the "black" twins that made Jazz seem like an altar boy were disgusting (not in a good way)
Suppose that sums up my thoughts.

Be careful, Caedus... Valfar and CelticP are going to call you a crazy PC person!

Irish, you live in Georgia and you don't hear whites talk like that? I live in Ohio and I do. Worse even! Too bad so many go to my school system. :lol

My morning radio show was talking about this movie. They say it's about 30 minutes too long and definately mediocre. And this came from guys who really liked the first one.

Supposedly the scenes with the parents are the funniest parts of the film.

Those scenes should have been cut....I don't watch a Transformers movie to see the kid's parents for 25 minutes......

OMG The parents... funny as a dose of the clap. That guy that tags along was funny at times...a pointless character but funny especially in the museum.
Yeah, action has been ratcheted up some, but its so fast and in your face, half the time it just blends into one and by the 150th set piece you get de sensitised to it.
Star Trek hand down the best of the blockbusters, then Drag Me To Hell, then Wolverine, then TF2 and then a distant Terminator bore, i mean 4:rolleyes:
