I gotta wonder if the fitting problems are throughout or the minority.
This is a pretty complicated piece for any company, but more so for Weta as this is not a typical piece for them. I don't remember something this large with so many parts to it.

The most complicated assembly I have right now on a statue is XM Ghost Rider, it all fits and I don't remember a lot of issues on putting it together.

One of the boxes seems to be made out of wood, hence the weight. The lid is attached to one side with hinges.
