Triad Toys' Lara Croft at WOH2007

Triad is showing off their new products at Weekend of Heroes 2007 right now and I just recently saw these pics and had to share.
A Men With Dolls board member by the name of DYNA is the originator of these images, I hope this person doesn't mind me posting copies here.

Having worked on an Angelina Jolie likeness before, I can say that Callous (I believe it's him) Nailed the likeness! The eyes may be a little too lightly colored but it's perfect. I really hope they release this like they did their Enforcer and Night Stalker sets.
I soo can't wait to order at least one of these!

i REALLY hope they'll release the sculpt but i bet they just release the outfit. Callous has done some awesome sculpts of Ani, Padme, and Mace for Triad to display at these shows but they've stated that those sculpts won't be released so i bet this is the same. hope i'm wrong!

Callous is a genuis, and a great guy... they eyes, maybe it's the flash but you can see them better in that silver outfit shot. Could be darker though, agreed.

The Natalie Portman likeness was dead on and that HS was never released. I doubt if this Angelina will see the light of day--- shame as it looks bang on for Tombraider fans.

Wow their Brad Pitt and Antonio Banderas sculpts are amazing as well. I hope these headsculpts get released, I've been wanting a Mr and Mrs Smith 1/6 set up in my collection for a while and this is two steps in the perfect direction!!

The blonde headsculpt looks like it'd work perfectly for an unmasked Catwoman custom from Batman Returns.

Just heard back from Louie no such luck on the Tomb Raider sculpt. He stated it was just a costume set they were selling. To bad because it did look good.

The "zombie" eyes are just hand painted eyes that I did up for the show since we couldn't get the mass produced versions in time for the show. The final ones will be really nice - ala 1/4 scale glass eyes with the nice colors and all.

yeah, but to bad the post right above urs confirms the Jolie sculpt won't be released, meaning none of them probably will, just like the previous SW sculpts. !@#$%^&!

just don't understand how they can make those killer sculpts and not sell'em. seems like it'd loose them $ in time and labor.

Thanks for letting us know the bad news Small_studios.
Damn, I just can't understand why they would show such amazing head sculpts if they never plan on releasing them in the first place. It just gets your hopes up for nothing. I really wish they would never show what amounts to custom figures at their company's booth. At least let everyone know that they are never going to be released with a little placard.

That Blond sculpt I believe is the same Angelina Jolie head sculpt, the one that they won't produce.

i'll be amazed if their boxed figures are big sellers. (that is if they ever get released.)

if their boxed figure lines tank, it could bankrupt the company.

if sideshow can't sell their pirate, cowboy and numerous movie based figures, what chance do some generic sci-fi ninjas have?

triad should stick to selling celebrity heads, that awesome body that's a year late and outfits from movies. then branch out into box figures later on.

it's almost a crime that their hayden and natalie heads haven't been released. and what few heads they did release, like carrie ann moss and michelle rodriguez were extremely limited or poorly done(christian bale)
