Super Freak
OK guys, I am gonna share a trick with you. It works for smaller action figures, but I am not sure if it will help the gigantic figures or not. Has anyone heard of the Krazy/Super glue build up method? What you do, is you place a small amount of said glue around the movable piece. DO NOT LET IT DRY. Keep moving the piece back and forth until the glue has dried. Repeat the process until you see the arm begin to become stiffer as you raise and lower it. Problem solved. It takes a while for the thin layers of glue, evenly dispersed by the movement of the joint in question to build up, but it has always worked on loose jointed figures in 1/6 scale that I have had, and even in 1/12. Sam's an expensive piece, and you may not want to risk it unless it really bothers you. But it works. Try it out an an old 1/6 scale figure you may have in a trash pile for some practice. Good find. Never knew about that. I'm too scared to try it on Sam though. Is his costume even removable?
Just checked and it does appear to be removable. Maybe i'll get the nerve to try this one day....Doubt it though..
