LOVE LOVE LOVE this show!!

I really like how 2012 Woody is becoming less likable the more we learn about him. You can tell the guy is just full of lies and guilt. I keep getting the feeling that something big is just staring us in the face about this story and none of us see it. The two black cops seem like they know something more than they are letting onto. In the first episode, does anyone remember how close the dates are on the first 2012 footage we see??

Also, really liked seeing Eli preach the crap out of the congregation this week! LOL made me miss Boardwalk a little.

Last night's episode was as good as any Breaking Bad episodes from the last season with maybe the exception of the final three. Two week wait my ***!

You are exactly right about the interviews and the two black cops. Something very important has happened and they are not telling anyone. I think its got something to do with Cohle (McConaghey's character).

Just when they air an episode from which there is no turning back (as a viewer) they make us wait two weeks. Sunday nights will be THE night to watch TV in my house for a while. Between True Detective, Walking Dead and the soon to return Game of Thrones, my butt will be firmly planted in my chair on Sunday nights.

Yep, pretty much all my favourite shows of recent times are on Sundays (Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, True Detective and Walking Dead). Hate when they take a two-week break like this, too. Will have to prepare myself for that with Game of Thrones... forget which week it is, but they always skip a Sunday for ratings reasons around the 8th or 9th episode in.

Joining the club, I've never watched a tv episode twice. Ever. That is unless I was re-watching a series. Anyways I watched both episode one and two twice and will do the same with the third especially since there is a damn two wek break.

This show is like nothing I've ever seen before. It's hypnotic. Only three episodes in and so far I'd rank it up there with the wire sopranos breaking bad etc. Those are the best three IMO. But of course there's still a ways to go.

But the writing, cinematography EDITING, art direction, styling, ACTING... All out of this world.

It has not missed a beat in three episodes, I can only imagine it will get better too. I can think of countless shows I was in five episodes or more until i was thinking "when the hell is this gonna get any good?" House of cards, twin peaks and yes, The Wire all felt like a chore to stick with in the beginning.

But for me, this show has been like crack from the very first scene.

Agree. I almost raged when I saw "in two weeks".

Only other show I can say that about is Hannibal.

True Detective and Hannibal have so much texture to feel.

I got a Hannibal vibe from the first episode. I gave Hannibal a shot but got bored with it. It didn't suck me in like TD has. this show is an absolute gem. I've watched all three episodes 3 times each. It does a good job of making everything that is said and done matter. Two weeks will feel like nothing after the long gap between TWD episodes.

I've rewatched 1-3 the other day. It's a really great show. I don't think I moved for three hours, the show totally sucked me in.

Has anyone noticed the tattoo on LeDeux's upper right thigh? It looks like those stick things that were hanging from the tree and what they found in the playhouse...Well to me anyways.

I rewatched the Alexandra Daddario scene a few times to make sure I didn't miss any important dialogue.

I think what's funny is that HBO still plays that softcore porn where they don't show any vajajay but their own programming has Alexandra full frontal etc. Game of Thrones actually has more graphic sex scenes than the porn they run. :lol
