It's not a QC issue. QC doesn't check each packed box, they spot check the pieces before packing. Frequently the non-exclusive pieces have empty slots, so I'm sure they thought this was normal - putting just the gaffi stick in the non-exclusive and just the rifle in the exclusive.
I'm sure SSC will get it sorted.

Assuming that they are all like this, it does seem like the factory misunderstood something and thought that the exclusive was only supposed to have the rifle, rather than just forgetting to put the gaffi sticks in the boxes. It seems likely that they didn't even manufacture the additional gaffi sticks, which could lead to some delays in getting the additional parts. I'm sure they probably have some extras so the first few people may get theirs quickly, but if all 500 exclusives are missing them, it could take a while. I switched to flex-pay and won't be getting this for months, so it doesn't directly affect me, but it is kind of worrying.

Well oh darn...The damn Gaffi stick is missing...I called Sideshow and they will send me a gaffi stick in 3-4 weeks, when the rest of the shipments come in... 
However, the Tusken is freakin' bad a^^...Man, Im so glad I didn't cancel this...Its also very heavy, the detail is amazing and the left hand pose doesn't bother me in the least...

Since it looks like only exclusives have shipped out so far, what does that mean for the regulars? I can't imagine it's all one piece as it would add a lot of height to the box. Do the regulars that they have have no arm/stick at all?
Dave, this is definitely part of Quality Control. QC goes beyond just ensuring that products are made with the correct materials, painted the right colours, etc. QC is responsible all the way through proper packing of each product.
This is yet another example of why Sideshow needs a full-time PM in Asia. The offshore IT approach just doesn't cut it, imho.

When I spoke to Jeff in customer service the other day... he said he had received multiple calls already that morning on the gaffi stick being missing from the exclusive (and I called like 10 minutes after they opened on basically the first day anyone had gotten theirs.)
He said they were already discussing opening all the ones they hadn't shipped to check if they were missing the part also. They were "hoping" this was a limited mistake where only a certain part of the run had these missing, but he acknowledged that it was possible that all the exclusives are missing the part.
Clearly, Sideshow is on the case based on their call volume! One nice thing is that we know Sideshow will make this "right" for everyone. They take care of their customers on stuff like this. We all just need to have a bit o' patience and it'll get cleared up.

Is this why mine hasn't shipped yet? Are they going to wait to ship the rest until all of the replacements are in? If it's missing, I would rather just get the statue like everyone else and be added to the list of those waiting for the extra piece, but don't make me wait several weeks to get my PF.
