which one is signed... all of the versions? there's one on SS available... is it signed?
I can't imagine them doing any other editions of her, they have plenty of others to get to with this line.
I think he means the ES on the EX will be so high that his regular will be more rare.
Yea, you must be right(and I think he is too) as the EE is still open for order well after they said it would close AGAIN. WTF Tweeterhed.
Who knows, TH is not telling even when they posted they would weeks ago. The regular is "low quantity" at SS right now.I was just kidding but have been thinking...
I would have loved the emerald signed edition but shipping costs plus vat and duty etc made it ridiculously expensive. I preordered for a regular with a UK retailer gutted that I'd miss out on the Ex
What I don't understand is why bother with two editions? They will be making so many emerald from having this open for so long that it would be more hassle to source and refit clear gems. Time being money etc.
Of course they might ship thousands of regulars to batfans so what do I know? Be real interesting to see the edition numbers on this tho.
I agree....I could be absolutely wrong, probably am, but I still can't see the ES on the emerald edition being that high. The cost with shipping for me was almost $320. You have to be a pretty big fan to drop that amount on 1/6 scale. That's almost as much as a PF and using Sideshow points or whatever coupon you may have, you might get a PF for close to that. I also can't see Tweeterhead sending Julie Newmar a letting saying: Dear Ms. Newmar, please sign these 3000 certificates, regards
I really do believe the majority of people, like me, ordered her immediately due to Tweeterhead making it sound as if you had a 3 hour window to get her. Even being up on the site for months, I think sales probably dropped off after the initial craziness.
But, I've been wrong before.......
When we see the ES on these pieces we shall see. I don't think the ES will be high for some reason like cost as well as these are geared for a very specific client(aka 66 batman/nostalgic fan). This is not the hulk, etc, for ex. We will see soon enough. I ordered the Emerald ed and absolutely love Trevor Groves work and is now up there for me in the top tier for sculpts
From a Facebook response to criticism of them reopening the ordering: "The edition size will be below 300 on our CW"
It will be under 300, how much they are not saying yet for some reason. I was hoping they would post it today being her birthday, but looks like not yet.
Interesting....they had to have sent her the certificates, yet they can't tell us how many they sent her.....uh, okay.
At least we have a ball park number, thanks for the info Stingray
This pic hadn't been posted here yet.
Am I the only one who thinks she looks better holding a diamond than an emerald?
Love this statue but I'm on the fence because I'm not sure where it would fit in my collection. Still, I might get it just because Hot Toys will never come close to matching that body with one of their standard female figures. (And that's if HT even bothers making one.) I don't own the West Batman or Robin and if I was going to get a figure from the that show, Julie Newmar would be the one. But she would be a 1/6 statue in my collection of 1/6 action figures, and she would also be the only Batman 66 figure. Just not sure where I would display her.
