Well, Sideshow already started with this line, and while Tweeterhead continues with it (same size, probably artists doing it), making Lion O is similar risk like making Skeletor who has already been made before also by Sideshow. That is probably why. They need to establish knowledge of the new line and then they can return to risky characters (like with MOTU).
