As I mentioned on my last post, the file sent to the printer was the wrong file that didn't have the corrections that the 3d pics with all the alterations had. The old file was sent.
WGP will take care of the problem.

Yeah, a couple of days ago, I got the update that it will be sent soon to the printer with the correct file.
Just an update who those who haven't followed in a while, the wrong file was sent to the printer so when I got the glasses, it was the early proto. The file was tweaked which is evident of the 3d pics I posted but the wrong file was sent so it's being re-printed.

I still havent had any updates.
WGP is working on a terminator glasses also and I saw on that thread that it is also in limbo at the moment. It seems the hold up is with the printer guys. They've been promising deadlines that they havent delivered.
The 3D sculpt has been finished a while back. WGP sends the finished 3d sculpt to a different company to print and this is where it is stalled.
Hope Rick doesnt mind me posting this but this is what he posted on the terminator glasses thread which is in the same situation as this. Rick wrote...
"I have been trying to keep quiet because I keep getting promised casting deadlines that don't get met. I apologize because I honestly expected these to be done like three days after the molder got them.
The finished glasses have been at the molders a month now. He says the trick has been casting them clear with no imperfections and that they would be done this week.
