U.S. Tax Rebate Schedule 2008

Since many of you are waiting like me to get this little check, figured I'd share this, Yahoo posted a schedule along with an article, it runs based on the last 2 digits of your Social Security Number. Dates for checks reflect when they're to be sent out, could always be sooner, but I think you'd be safer planning that date or a bit later.

If your tax return came via direct deposit and your DD info is on file, that's how you'll get it, otherwise it's a check.

I am planning on getting a PS3 with the extra money. But I am glad it's not until late June and all of my studies will be completed by then. That way I won't have any distractions when I play the PS3.

I've been holding back on HD until the DVD war came to a close and now that there's a winner, i don't want to keep investing in standard DVDs and there are a few movies I'm very eager to get on video in May that I want to just get the Blu-Rays of, (RAMBO Quadrilogy, National Treasure 2) so I'll likely try to do it on my salary and have the check to cover collectibles and things.

Seriously, they're doing this to stimulate the economy yet they've cut out a key demographic--college students. It's not like I can go live somewhere else, I can't afford to pay for housing when I have to pay for college. Yet they won't give me a tax refund.

Very sad, but congratulations to the rest of you.
