Super Freak
I'll say Penn by RNC or Dirty S by decision.

It's true. But that whole Fedor angle was raised BY disgruntled Fedor fans/UFC/Dana White haters. The UFC makes ALL sponsors pay like $150,000 now to promote in their org. Any company that refuses goes on the ban list. Simple.
Same people who complain about the UFC doing that, guaranteed you will never see them complaining about the NFL doing it.
Penn/Sanchez is gonna be a good fight. I like BJ but I think Sanchez will win in the 4th(I just dont trust BJ's cardio). Sanchez TKO in the 4th.......I hope i'm wrong.
Penn is my hometown boy, but bias aside...from watching his vlogs daily, he's looking ripped and even put on more muscle mass. he looks pretty thick in the arms and chest etc.
Last month he posted a vlog that he actually has to eat more than usual or eat foods that will actually help him sustain the weight he is at right now or he will be too light for the fight. that's how in shape he is with marinovich working him every day. I guess we'll see though. He's had 2 great camps so far and only had about a month of off time between kenflo and now so he should be peaking with the new marinovich system.
well considering how they banned other sponsors in the past, most notably affliction i think the Fedor angle holds water.
Plus, RVCA has been sponsoring Penn since pretty much the beginning so I dont see why they'd refuse to pay the UFC now. What ever the reason, it still blows big time.
Not really though: Affliction wasn't banned from the UFC until after they made a competing MMA org. (EliteXC banned Affliction at the same time as well). Before they made their MMA org Affliction was still sponsoring Fedor and was still sponsoring fighters in the UFC. So it wasn't a problem.
That sponsorship fee is new. The UFC never charged sponsors in the past to advertise at their shows. They implemented that AFTER Affliction folded and came back to the UFC. I guess the idea was to prevent a sponsor getting rich off the UFC then leaving to compete. Now the UFC makes money off the sponsor FIRST.
The UFC sponsorship fee is $100,000 every 6 months. To put it in perspective: Molson Coors agreed to renew its sponsorship of the NFL through 2010 in a five-year deal worth $500 million. The NFL has over 30 sponsors, and they ALL pay a fee. Again.. no one complains about that.
Can you link me to that site??
This is going to sound funny.....but go to BJPENN.COM
seriously though, he usually posts up a couple new vlogs daily even though they are only a minute long each or so.
I think i'm a bit behind over here in the UK, the last episode that was on was
Brendan Schaub beating Jon Madsen.
The results for the next few episodes are on Wikipedia so I take it i'm a little behind? Where are you guys up to?
So your point of view on it is that RVCA didnt want to pay the UFC to renew their sponsorship in the UFC?
So is Kimbo dropping down to LHW for his fight or is it a catch weight fight?
Honestly.. I don't see many options for Kimbo in the UFC. I think he might even get KTFO by Alexander tbh. I like Kimbo.. he seems really genuine and down to Earth plus he has a good sense of humor. But he's too small and doesn't have the wrestling capability to compete in the UFC HW Division and I honestly don't see him doing much in the LHW division either. Unless he's can-fed like EliteXC did with him.
