They do the best they can with promoting, Bellators getting bigger, but they still dont have the PR machine or the budget to do what UFC does. Sometimes its up to the fans to follow.

anybody see the weigh ins? Brock looks 2x bigger than Cain, and thats considering hes leaner for this fight :lol. Cant wait for that ____, i will stick by my comment that if this fight goes to the ground, Cain will get destroyed.

Obviously it doesnt have the money to promote like the UFC but I watch Or well. Strikeforce sucks at Promoting as well.

Yeah i think the smaller shows have just enough money to actually run there show and besides maybe some posters up here and there they cant really advertise. :dunno

As big as Brock is, he didnt seem all that impressive standing next to Cain when I watched the weigh ins. Again not saying Brock isnt a mutant of a man, but I still want Cain to take the belt and stir up the division again.

As much as I want Cain to win the real test is going to be if Brock gets the take down and gets on top will Cain have an answer for that. To me thats going to dictate the whole fight plays out.

Eh........i guess based on that pic, Brock doesnt look that much bigger, only 20lbs :monkey3

Well he was 20 lbs bigger for the weigh-in. But come fight night Brock will most likely be around 275 lbs (he said he was at this weight earlier this week) while Cain cut no weight and weighed in at 244 lbs. So it's closer to a 30 lbs weight advantage + a 2 inch height advantage + a 4 inch reach advantage.

Should be a good fight. That whole main card is stacked though.

My picks:

Brock Wins by TKO
Shields wins by sub
Hamill wins by dec
Schaub wins by KO
Thiago wins by sub
Jenson win by sub
Lawlor wins by dec
Roberts wins by dec
Stout wins by TKO
Yang wins by TKO
Madsen wins by TKO

I know little about the undercard so they are more or less guesses.

Cain is a legend with his training partners, there has been alot of prasie about him for the last few years, unlike any other fighter. I do think he is the better "skilled" fighter then Lesner, but size seems to be the problem. Lesner will try to grab him, use his size and hammer fist a victory.

the short wrestler guy on primetime that was supposed to "emulate" Brock didnt look too impressive to me. Carwin is the closest thing to Brock, if you dont bring him in as a training partner, then :slap. Cain is gonna have to land multiple shots on the "button" cause if he throws leg kicks, hes going down, and if he stands in front of Brock, hes goin down. Brock, like GSP knows where his advantage is at, so thats where Brock is gonna try to take the fight. Cain is gonna try and stand with him and hope his superior boxing skills gets him the win.

as much as i want Cain to win, I just cant see Brock gettin KOed, if Carwin could not put him away I dont think Cain can either but I hope im wrong....

I haven't seen the primetime, actually just turned spike on and its on, but Cain has been the talk for the last three years. I still think he's too small.

I think Cain can KO him.

Cain Velasquez's punch registers at 2230 lbs of force, a harder punch than any boxer ever measured in the Sport Science lab
