He is so explosive and strong with good technique that he can just rush in and he will get the takedown. The problem lies when the opponent stuffs the take down and they break away, Lesnar's head is still down and the other guy just throws a combination. I teach this every week, stuff a takedown and always always throw after the break.

Last nights loss still doesn't change the fact that..

1. Brock Lesnar is tied with Randy Couture and Tim Sylvia for most UFC HW Title defenses in a row (2 a piece)

AND

2. Brock Lesnar is the only HW in MMA history to ever defeat 3 top 5 opponents in a row (#3 Couture, #2 Mir II, #3/4 Carwin). And he stopped ALL of them. Fedor has never done that. Big Nog has never done that. Couture, Sylvia, Arlovski, etc. Only Brock.

So it's nothing new. Besides.. Brock lost to the #4 HW in the world. 4th top 5 opponent he faced in a row. Yet another thing no other HW has ever done (fight 4 top 5 HW's in a row).



Couture did it.

Brock is easily going to come back and start kicking peoples ***** again. So for those that think hes done or going back to WWE, beleive me who ever he fights next is going to have hell. Just like he said himself hes going to go back and fix some things and come back stronger.

Cain figured out his game and had an asnwer for it. Again like Brock said he was the better man "tonight". This fight could have easily went either way. Now Cain fights JDS which to me could easily be another either mans fight scenario. Last night on MMA Live they interviewed Cain and he even said if he ever gets to fight Brock again he knows he would have a different fight because Brock would come back bigger faster and stronger with more weapons.

I dont understand people dissing Brock. Im not even really a fan of his but I think Brock was ready, but again Cain just had the answers.

FYI: Brock Lesnar has more HW title defenses than Big Nog (0 PRIDE HW Title Defenses) and is tied with Fedor (2 PRIDE HW Title Defenses).

1st title defense Fedor won a decision over Cro Cop and afterwards his face looked like he had been in a car accident. In the 2nd title defense for Fedor he was dominated on the ground AND put in a sub by (of all people) Mark Hunt until he reversed and won.

Nothing dominant about those performances.

Brock is a hard worker. Most ppl tend to forget he hasnt been in the sport very long, but has accomplished a lot already. He knows his biggest weakness is his stand up; i think if he brings in the right guys, he will be fine. Cain could very well be one and done against JDS cause they are so evenly matched. Most ppl didnt like Brock anyways, so im not suprised at all the hate towards him.
