TUF 13 debut had the lowest ratings ever for the series. Thats surprising, Brock was supposed to be a big draw.

that was the most boring fight ever, im getting tired of everybody winning without even getting hit once, lay and pray technique is getting out of hand, perfect example is Anthony Johnson on Saturday, I was expecting a stand up brawl and Johnson punked out...

Fitch and his training brother Kos should definitely fight. double KO

you do know it's Fitch that is the one injured right? not Penn

Even with the time change, it's still on too late for me. I wish they would move it even an hour earlier P/T to 8.

if Johnson would have properly hit that arm triangle, he would have one by sub, but Hardy doesnt tap to anything, so maybe not. When Hardy has a substantial weakness, it would be crazy not to exploit it. Hardy vs Diaz is the perfect fight.

1.5 million viewers for TUF 13 > 1.1 Million peak for Strikeforce: Silva vs. Fedor/412,000 for Feijao vs. Henderson, 189,000 for M1-Global/ALL of Bellator's events on MTV2.

:lol:lol:lol

Time change could've had an effect.

It's also worth noting: This is the first season of TUF since season 2 to not have a live UFC Fight Night preceding the debut.

You love to post stats, how long does it take to research all that? Who cares about Showtime its a pay channel anyway. Either way the 1st episode was horrible. Brock was a bad choice. He lost alot of steam losing to Cain. I guess Kimbo is a bigger draw since he was on the highest rated season. If Brock loses to JDS he's done.

But they need to change to show up a bit. Maybe do another comeback Season. Something.

I totally agree, Wrestlers are taking over and making alot of boring fights.

People who dislike stats usually dislike them because they're not favorable to what they're talking about.

As far as lay and prayers go I actually blame that on the UFC. There quick to call people out and cut them if they dont win. I do agree that as of lately even if you win and your boring theres a chance of getting cut. Regardless again I blame it on the UFC, people play it safe adn go for the win. In UFC everone knows there job is on the line so to speak.

yea, thats a good point, some guys cant afford to lose one or two fights at most without getting cut, which is completely bogus. Once the UFC really starts putting on tons of events, which we havent seen yet, i would expect them to cut less guys so that they can fill up more shows. I thought we would be seeing something every week by now, but it sounds like theres a lot of crap that goes with getting events onto other stations besides Spike and Vs.

I'd suggest PRIDE FC style yellow/red cards but some American MMA fighters make so little as it is with purse penalties some guys might leave a fight owing money. :lol

Roy Nelsen had 3 boring fights until the finale where he went for the knock-out and got it just like he said he would. With the fast tourny style format of TUF, I've always expected boring fights from the show. Guys not not only have to play it safe to get the W and continue on instead of returning to some no-name promotion, but have to play it safe to stay healthy and in the competition.

The Heavyweights was the only one I got really into. Had an interesting cast between Marcus, Roy, Kimbo, and Meat-head. Plus the Rashaad/Rampage dynamic always cracked me up :lol

the only season's I was really into was the Ramp/Rashad show and the GSP/Kos just cause I was waiting for someone to explode. The thing that really interests me about the show is how these relatively nobody fighters get to train and learn from the top fighters in the world. I defn envy them. A Jones/Rashad TUF would be siiiiiiiiiick

Heres an interesting article on teammate's fighting each other:

We can all pitch in to get "The Dean of Mean" put on his tombstone as well. I mean, he did beat two former LHW champions.

True. But I think Chuck was on his way out(physically) when that happened, nor do I think he really trained 100% like he did for Wandy.

Hell, Jardine even dropped Chuck(and Keith has never been known for his KO power) a few times, so it was clear that Chuck's usual granite chin, was already in the process of getting turned into playdough.
