Why? So he can get destroyed by a real and experienced MMA fighter?
Kimbo has been protected in his two MMA fights. His first fight was against a nobody and Tank is nowhere near what he was in his heyday, which to be honest was more hype than talent. I couldn't stand listening to the announcers say Kimbo has proven himself as a real MMA fighter when all he has fought is strikers. I am not saying Kimbo isn't a badass fighter but I don't think he could compete against a true MMA fighter yet. I want to see Kimbo get taken down to see what he can do on the ground when he is out of his element.
I did tell my roommate that I would like to see a fight between Brock and Kimbo though.

the Ice Man seemed to do pretty well without having a good ground game. Kimbo would do really well in the heavy weights. i agree though that it would be interesting to see him against a grappler.

I liked seeing Tank get wrecked, that was cool.
But I agree that they are over hyping Kimbo. He hasnt been tested AT ALL. We have yet to see him defend a take down, get taken down, or work on the mat.
Now that he has a couple fights and is looking comfortable in the cage they need to give him a real test.
I hope to see him display some real MMA skills, there is NO DOUBT he can strike, but I would like to see more of him.

I think what you saw last night was someone getting into his prime and someone about ready to call it quits in fighting. Tank was a little more than half a step slow and kimbo can hit like a truck.
What I'm looking the most forward to now is cung le against shamrock. The last time I saw Cung fight he made the other guy look silly and Shamrock destroyed Maroni. It will be interesting to see if Le can go toe to toe with a vet like shamrock.
One thing I can say about kimbo is he has really gotten into shape. If you look at clips of him even six months ago he dropped a significant amount of weight and looks like someone who is focused and serious about being the best... Time will tell

yea, in the backyard of somebody's house, it's hilarious. While he is good, he fights a bunch of putzes; agree with King that he hasn't really fought "anybody". Would love to see him in the UFC; the UFC certainly are known for going out and signing popular fighters, and Kimbo certainly is one of those guy. Would love to see him against Brock Lesnar or Tim Sylvia; they are all three of them primarily strikers. Don't want to see him against Frank Mir

Im quite pissed at Dana White right now hes a ****ing chump
Hes calling Fedor Emilianenko a FARCE and a a JOKE saying he hasnt fought anyone and would get demolished in the UFC. He always does this when he cant sign someone, when he was trying to sign Wanderlei Silva and he couldnt he was saying he was washed up etc and when Wanderlei did sign the dotted line he started praising him.
FEDOR would demolish anyone the UFC has to offer, the current heavy weight champ has been decimated by Fedor already, the fight was so brutal and NOG copped such an ass whooping some japanese chick in the front row was crying..
Anyone with an ounce of respect or knowledge about Fedor would never make such claims, even Joe Rogan said Dana White is full of **** and doesnt agree with those comments at all "FEDOR is a ****ing CYBORG he demolishes anyone in his path he shows no pain or emotion and is the best heavyweight in the world of fighting today" was the description he used when describing Fedor

I follow the series pretty closely, I Ive never really noticed him act like an ass too bad or anything. AT least not beyond what every boss has to doo to kick people's asses into gear occassionaly.
