Interesting dude. I had NO IDEA, that was such a shock and a laugh to read that he was caught for roids...wow....

I mean if it was Rickson I would have believed in a second, or even Renzo.

Im stoked for the Shamrock Diaz fight next month. Always love watching Frank fight and he's one of the main reason why I even got into MMA, both as a fan and in training.

I still think it's a weird match up though, but I guess it'll do.

Very weird since it's a catchweight fight so it's almost irrelevant since a win/loss for either does nothing for their standings in their respective divisions. And Strikeforce just announced a fight for their May card on Showtime: Jake Shields vs. Robbie Lawler in a non-title MW bout. Which again is pretty irrelevant since the outcome won't affect either fighters standings in the rankings as well. Not to mention I could care less about any of these match-ups.

I would've prefered to see:

MW Bout: Frank Shamrock vs. Scott Smith
Strikeforce/EliteXC MW Bout: Cung Le vs. Robbie Lawler
Strikeforce LW Title Bout: Josh Thompson vs. Nick Diaz

Every person that I know who's been on roids has always been more susceptible to injuries. There was this guy who would workout hard and play sports very physically all the time and would never get injured at all. But as soon as he took roids he was always getting ligament and muscle tears left and right just by doing the simplest thing. One time he was working out his triceps by doing skull crushers and all of a sudden the sound of the muscle tearing was awful. It sounded like someone got an old bath towel and just ripped it in half. Another time he was doing squats and the weight was not at all heavy like he was use to doing, but sure enough he tore his quad muscle and was put out of commission for several months. In only a short time all that muscle just disappeared.

WOW, there are just too many kats on roids these days, its rare to see a natural athlete, without the assistance of roids........

Test, Wow. Same age as me. I guess the roids caught up with him, He has also been fighting alchohol addiction over the last 6 months or so. Anyone's guess I suppose :(

WOW.. that's crazy.

TAMPA (Bay News 9) -- A former professional wrestler was found dead in his Tampa apartment Friday night.

Police showed up to the apartment of Andrew "Test" Martin to check on him after a neighbor called to tell them she could see him in his apartment and that he hadn't moved for several hours, police reports said.

There is no indication of foul play, police said. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Martin, 33, was a wrestler with the World Wrestling Federation from 1998 to 2004, and then again from 2006 to 2007. He also worked with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling until his retirement from the sport in 2007.

Ex WWE wrestler Test was found dead yesterday at 33, a steroid user.

Holy crap I remember Test!!! I met him as well as Albert, Edge, Bob Holly, Kane and the Brooklyn Brawler at the gym when they use to come to town. I had no idea he was so young. But then again so many wrestlers are known for dying young. This is just another case.

I wonder if the UFC would hire a female referee? I would love to do it.

Well it's not up to the UFC since they don't hire refs. Refs are employed and appointed by the various state atheletic commissions. I know there was one female ref in Boxing.. but other than that, never really seen another. Guess the ladies would rather hold ring cards in a bikin that ref. :lol
