A simple understanding of physics and distances between stars tells you two things.

Any civilization interested in us would not have the capability to travel the stars in an effective manner.

Amy civilization that HAS interstellar capability (which is extremely difficult) would have no interest in us, and certainly would never need to hide its existence.

Anyone who thinks we’re the only life in the universe is foolish. Interstellar travel exists just not in our backwards world. There’s more life beyond us we can’t even imagine. I don’t need a crashed ufo or the government to tell me extraterrestrial life exists to know. I just know we can’t be the only living creatures in the vastness of the cosmos. There’s just no way we’re it. We can’t even get along with each other let alone hardly get off the planet. We are cavemen and cavewomen. Our lives are spent collecting plastic toys. lol

We are thinking like we think, not how “they” think. There are potential civilizations that have hundreds of thousands if not millions of years head start on us, we cannot comprehend what they are able to do or their reasoning for what they do or don’t do.
