I'm going to try and swing by the LCS today and pick this one up. I haven't bought a comic in 6 months.

I picked up the last copy the LCS had in stock. I don't know which cover variant it is, but I"m not a fan of it. I was hoping to see a couple of them so I could go with a good looking one.

Doubt it. Fantomex is too serious last time i read anything with him in it.

and he lacks deadpool's best super-power

This is the first time I read anything with/about Fantomex, but I doubt he'll get as big as Deadpool. He seemed cool, but not a big enough role in this book to really show him off.

If you can, pick up X-Men Second Coming part 1 and 2. It just wrapped up and it hints towards the resurrection of Jean.
Great story.


I heard of Fantomex in Second Coming. dunno when his first appearance was.

I didn't realize Havok and Polaris were affiliated with team...guess I have to read the book.

its actually a huge commemorative poster designed by the artist. Wolverine #1 vol 3, X-23 #1, and the others all collect to form one giant image. Basically the x-men universe.

usually that variant is given to comic shops that order 75 copies of the regular comic release.

They will. The previous ones have been sold seperately as posters so I see no reason that this one would not.

Just finished reading it, kinda dissapointed. It didnt have the dark gritty bloody atmosphere the last series created. I might pick up the next issue, depends on how I feel a month from now. Yeah the crain variant was a painful reminder of what this series will not be and it looks like Liefeld lost his touch, what the hell did he do to wolverine on that cover. I picked em all up except he Liefeld one
