My internet must be crap (even though I thought it was good,... guess not)

I remember it taking 9 hours to install the Socom 4 beta. Even with a bad internet, i can understand it taking maybe a couple hours compared to someone elses 30, but a possible 8 hours?!

How can that be possible?

Ok, after 2 hours of downloading I'm at 45%

I've waited this long for the beta to be available, I guess I can wait a couple more hours or so...

....but the wait is KILLING ME!!

Lots of freezing. Playing is going well though, when it doesn't make me reset my ps3 by hand.

I cannot finish one game without freezing or extreme framerate drops.....beta is kinda a mess right now........glad it was free.....would have been made had I paid for Plus and had this experience

Never played any of the Uncharted games. Saw a preview of UC3 on XPlay on G4, and I've been thinking about giving them a shot. Looks like a solid action adventure game ... like an Indiana Jones, James Bond or Lara Croft thing. Is that about right?

Sent you a request to play but never saw you jump in. Maybe next time. I'm rarely on by myself so today was pretty much the one time you would have played with me. But I'm sure my friends wont be too busy with the beta since it's more frustrating then fun. Knowing us, we'll be back with uc2 Elimination tomorrow.

Man, the download took F-o-r-e-v-e-r. Don't have time to play tonight.

I really enjoyed U2's multiplayer for the week or so that I played it. Looking forward to this.

Only complaint I have is that the U3 beta code in InFamous 2 is pretty much made pointless because of the free 1-month PSN Plus bonus.

It started getting very laggy last night to the point where it was pretty much unplayable. The lag wasn't just during the games either, it was noticeable during the lobby screens as well.

Things might have changed last time I played though. Being able to play split screen online is great!\

The beta is available to all users next week I think? It would have been free anyway, plus just gets a head start The framerate drops were REALLY bad though. I'm going to play again in a bit and see if anything changed overnight.


UPDATE There is an update 1.01 for the beta now.
