It's been confirmed that the full teaser will be shown during the VGA.

Somebody asked Geoff Keighley on twitter whether the teaser will be in-engine like the uncharted 2 one back in 2008 and he replied "I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what we show. Definitely not cg."

Could even be in-game footage!
