That's a good point. I guess this thread has only attracted true fans of the character because he is less mainstream. Doesn't hurt that he turned out to be awesome

Here's some more pics of Drake and a few impressions.
+ The sculpt, pose, paint, and tailoring are all great in hand.
+ The scarf has a wire in it for posing!
+ Drake has his signature belt buckle on his belt!
Not very visible due to the pose, but a nice detail nonetheless.
- Not really a negative of the statue itself, but there is a lot of DIY involved straight outta the box, especially for a PF. Drake's holster strap, ammo belt, scarf, and necklace all come separate in the box. I didn't really mind since it probably reduces the risk of damage in shipping, but it can be a bit of a pain getting the straps through the buckles on the ammo strap, or on his holster straps if they come undone when you're putting them on. Also, I ended up tying the string of the necklace into a sort of slip knot around the ring to make it more like how he wears it in the game.
- While the overall paintjob is good, the stubble could still be darker/thicker.
Anyways, this may be because it's new , but I have around 20 PF's and I think this might be my favorite. It's AWESOME!

**** looks awesome..GREAT pics by all who posted…to me this PF is epic, i can't wait 2 get mine..i do agree that this thread is for those hardcore fans of drake..and lets be honest, its really spot on with really no inaccuracies from what i can see…compare that to say the keaton batman, which to me has a face that doesn't have a likeness and a crotch thats hung like a horse…luckily all we can maybe complain about on this is stubble lol…

Haha, yea man I can’t believe there are people defending that statue. Hopefully they fix it up before release. The video game line seem to be what sideshow is best at these days.

it sucks bcz i LOVE BATMAN..but i won't buy something that i have to convince myself on…which sucks cuz i do want a batman statue…but i had issues w the comic one and issues w the keaton one..i get ppl wanna love it and feel the need 2 order it but if I'm spending more than say $200 bucks on something, its not gonna have inaccuracies that 'i can live with'…i wish they keep the video game statues pumping..i have the last of us smaller statue and would love something in 1/4 scale from that…or something from rockstar..shoot you know something from fallout would sell like hotcakes…i was on the fence and eventually passed on the recently released/PO new lara croft statue from gaming heads…i liked that statue up until the head, which was just off to me..but yea sucks about batman…i wanna love it, i do..but i can't overlook glaring things like that

I agree. Unless they fix that thing, then I’m passing on it. Neca’s 80 dollar Batman figure looks better than it. I’m thinking of buying gaming head’s Kratos life side bust next. I’m not too fond of busts but he looks incredible.

The paint application is perfect.
Just opened him up, and wow, I really, really love it! It turned out amazing, and absolutely no flaws at all! Only thing that could've been better is the stubble. Tailoring and all the leather accessories is Sideshow's top game. Buy now, or you shall regret! A shame this isn't sold out, guess they overestimated the Uncharted fans willing to pay this money..
I am so glad you are all getting yours. Had mine been sent out when that CS person at Sideshow promised, I would have had mine yesterday. Sadly, because it wasn't so, now I wont receive it till Monday due to weather delays. And when I say weather, I mean snow, and when I say snow, I mean when someone spills a tiny bit of salt on the counter. So yes, I wont get ND because of the slightest dusting of basically nothing.

That really sucks BuffyGirl! Can't believe how slack Sideshow can be when it comes to shipping. So quick to charge peoples' cards, but then take their sweet time to ship out the item.
It wasn't like this in the past. Just something within the last while. Nothing I can do really. Just be really sad that it's not just a next day delay, it's a whole weekend.
A very good effort by SSC on this one. Sculpt looks quite good to me, so I definitely see the likeness...scarf looks a tad busy with the threading or whatever that is sticking out....
