Thanks for the comments . The Hasbro AOTC Trooper's armour is seriously chunky so making a straightforward Clone's out of the question really , so I thought I'd just "go for it !" ( I was also influenced by the look of the Republic Commandos from the video game ).

Wow Thundergod. They are amazing. Those headscupts are fantastic. Did you scupt them yourself? I love the Jedi's belt and boots.

Cheers, the Jedi is actually a BBi figure from the series "Andromeda" ( don't know the name of the character , I obtained it in a trade of some bits and bobs ) I just added a bit of paint . His boots came from a "Final Fantasy "figure .The gear is from the Hasbro Ben Kenobi and I put the belt together from some scraps of faux leather and a bracelet "borrowed " from the Wife .The clone is a casting I took from a Hasbro Jango figure with the hair "re-styled". I intend to make a few for my growing Clone army!

I did not want to hijack Katkuru's Luke Hoth thread so I thought I would post my WIP pictures of my bash here.

Hijack away! I don't mind, after all this is a place for sharing ideas. Is that the SS Empire Luke sculpt? It's a great match, did you have to shave any of the hair down to fit the helmet? Looking great so far.

Thanks! Yes it is the SSC ESB Luke. I had to dremmel off quite a bit of the head to get it to fit. I think it works. Lots of work left to do on him.

I'm sure there is already a thread for this, so instead of starting a new thread I'll post it here.

This is my Han Solo Tatooine on a TT narrow with the head sculpt from the stormtrooper disguise figure. I think it looks miles better now.

but his hair isn't supposed to be black... :monkey3

you should paint that brown and you'll be set.

Oh, and nice "alien" in the background! Is it HT?

It's taken me 3 months to swap the body......I'll get round to painting the hair...............eventually :lol

Yeah, it's the HT one. It's really nice...........except for the loose wrist............and the rubber splitting at the tail.........and flaking paint............to be continued........

:lol don't know why it's black to begin with...

almost thought that was the McFarlane Alien (like I have), but the fingers aren't in the right position to be a McF so I thought it was HT...

Is it really that difficult to swap bodies on a SS figure?...Oh wait, Han was on a Buck right? Buck bodies don't seem easily compatible with anything... Do you know anything about Hot Toys/Prometheus body compatibility? Don't have any Pro bodies yet, only Bucks so far...

On the buck body (Han Solo) it’s really easy to swap the head and hands. The sideshow head fits straight onto the TT neck post. I removed the Sideshow wrist pegs, the hands fit perfectly on the TT pegs. To make Indiana Jones (a Pro body, I think) hands & shoes fit, I had to do some drilling to widen the wrists and ankles in the TT body. Hope that helps.

I didn't know buck heads were removable... I have tried to remove one of mine, but it just seemed like it would end up breaking the neck or head...

I was sorta hoping pro bodies and HT bodies would be compatible :(

I was gonna see if I couldn't stick my clonobi (who has yet to show up at my front foor) head onto a HT or BBI body to make him a reg. jedi version from EpII so he could fight my Hasbro Jango... guess that won't be so easy then... :monkey2

Hi Dude

Clonobies on the armoured version of the promethius so quite Hot Toys True Type friendly. Head/neck & hands interchange very easy. Feet are a little different, Hot Toys True Types have a round Ball joint that clips onto the foot/boot Prometius has a smaller peg. Some people heat up the (sideshow) foot and wedge the ball in, I prefer to trim the True type ball down with a craft knife. (you can buy TT ankle joints off eBay a lot cheaper than Sideshow feet/boots!)

and as for popping Buck heads... Hold in hot water for 60 seconds, firm grip and pull!

Hope that helps mate!
