I guess I might be the only one who prefers Andy's more subdued sculpt to this one; this just looks like a mangled mess - and yeah, I guess that's the point.

Yea I am sure they have been wanting to do something like this for a long time now but with the limitation of 1/6th they finally can do it. They will get this out of the way then go back to the other style probably.

Depends on the genre. There are shamblers (Romero) and sprinters (Dawn remake). Shamblers seem to be stuck in some prolonged state of rigor which causes the stiffness. I guess the sprinters would be agile enough to pull off this pose. However, based on all of Sideshow's previous releases, product promo vids, etc., I always thought they were shamblers.

I am not too keen on the pose, it's kinda odd. Looks like he's squating.

It looks more like he's climbing down from something to me. The "79" makes me think it's an address marker, like you'd see on a plaque next to an iron gate. Maybe he climbed over the gate to the hospital/morgue and is in the process of escaping?

Yea I missed that, it does look like a concrete wall with an address marker or something along those lines. I like this idea better than the idea of him taking a dump.

Yep, me too Lonnie. If I can take 4 Babysitters, there isn't much left that can stop me now

But I hope this PF is the new trend. I don't want the 12" figures remade into PFs. PZ was OK since he was so rare and all, but the PFS need to be more like this -- stuff they get do in 1:6 (or at least easily). I'd also like to see some zombies with heavy damage. Like a big huge hole in their torso or something like that which couldn't be easily done to a 12" figure.

In any case, when you look at the background closely, it looks like he's climbing out of a pile of concrete rubble and bent girders, most likely the remnants of the building located at 79 whatever Street.

Going with the hospital gown theme, it's possible the hospital in question was destroyed either by accident (i.e. gas explosion) or intentionally by the military. Meh, it's a theory.
