I'd agree that it should be an hour. And I expected Alice to be a typical frigid stereotype, but she's got more dimension than any of the other alters.

And anyone get chills when she commented to the daughter, that "if things go my way, I'll be the only one"?

There is a lot more to her than I thought there'd be, I loved the way she came to Marshall's defense and made the two ladies that ridiculed Tara at the mall look stupid.

Damn, I missed that! She does seem very in control though, I wonder if that means she'll even push Tara out completely?

i caught that as well and makes me think that alice has some kind of plan to take over completely.........& as well as she may cook & clean & be this very 50's era perfect homemaker wife..........i think that the rest of the family would implode if she stayed on full time. should be very interesting to see how that plays out and a nice little possible plot twist so early on in a new show.

That's why I love DVR so much, if I have to miss an airing of a show I like I can set it and watch it later.
