Man what a mess. Hopefully Carl can contact UPS and they can figure out what went wrong and track down who the speakers were supposed to go to. Are the at least nice speakers?

I know it's a mess from day one for this customs. I really hope it can be resolve still.

Regarding the speakers, I really have no idea about speakers but both are brand new the brand is Definitive Technology DI series 6.5

Oh snap!! son you got some good speakers!!!! im not a DI guy but those are great!
 
I'm sure that UPS can resolve it, because if it had the correct tracking number it was more than likely either stuck to the wrong box by UPS or somebody pulled a switcheroo to try and steal it. But I think if it were theft, they would have not switched at all...

I'm really sorry about all this though... to Carl and Ryan. The DA curse strikes again, I hate that I visited this mess upon you both. bad luck just rubs off me I guess. I really hope it all gets put right.

I talk to UPS and they were saying it the problem could have happen on the UPS store you send it as the tracking number and paper works that comes with the speakers are all correct. Is it possible for you to give them a call. Thanks so much

I will go there today, but I doubt they were the problem. I was there when the label was put on the correct package in the proper plastic sleeve. And you said that the white speaker box they handed to your wife had no label on it??? Weird. Mine not only had your label, but the customs forms as well and the Tracking info clearly shows what the package was and what it was for:

20.0 lbs 21 x 18 x 13 in.

I highly doubt the speakers box was anywhere near that size/weight. What idiots.

Let me know if the UPS people on your end are of no help. If not, I will open a claim. At worst, they are giving you $400 USD. But they better find that damned package. :mad:

No there is no label at all it only comes with the custom paper. And unfortunately UPS people are at no help at all. Thanks so much for the help Carl, really appreciate it big time.

That is really f'd up... sounds like someone at UPS pulled a switheroo on you. Weird that they replaced your item with expensive speakers though :duh

Have you checked the value on them yet... maybe you could come out ahead on the deal after all :huh

I know man, i did check the value of the speakers but honestly the speakers have really no used for me. But they are really expensive:wink1:

Carl is right the statue is way more important for me and the wait for it. And it saddens me aswell to know that there is a possibility of all the hardwork of Carl and Jen goes for nothing on my end as UPS really screw up on this and not say the $115 my wife paid for the brokerage fee......I mean screww up fee.:mad:
 
Sadly, once the item leave the US - there isn't much our postal service/UPS, etc can do. The mix up could have occurred during customs or with the Canadian UPS (or whatever carrier delivered the package to your house).

Hopefully the guy who got your package has complained to someone about not getting his speakers and maybe the delivery carrier can figure it all out.

That is what I'm really afraid of if they can't do anything more. I might ask Carl do file a claim for it. As to be honest I have no time to sell this speakers as I don;t have any idea about them.

I'm hoping that the guy who got my statue file a complain aswell. And I hope he is not into statues as he might decide to keep it to himself:gah::gah::thud:
