Update on Pitu's Tragedy!

Well went to the post office today to mail some Ebay stuff Plus file a claim for my Broken Hulk vs Dio. One of the OLDladys that works there(she's a bee-atch) starts saying to me after we opend the statue up that she doesnt think ill get my money back. and Im like well Hulk craked in the midle and spidey is broken! I paid $500 for a brand new MINT item!! and this is not mint. So anyways i did all the paperwork and hopefully ill get my money back. Oh one of the USPS employe broke 3!fingers of spidey! and im like No they better give me MY MONEY!!!!!!!!! So lets see what happens!

Gotta love how other's treat your things. People can be so ignorant to other's personal belongings in the way they handle them. I know a few people like that, when I lent them stuff I would receive it back damaged somehow. Oh, and that's why I don't lend out anything any more. I used to be all about sharing, but only I can be held responsible if something breaks.

Welp, the fact that a government employee broke Spidey's fingers is enough to make your case valid to them. If they give you BS, just fight 'em.. you already know that MOST people never claim their insurance. Just imagine all the raw profit they already make out of Delivery Confirmation alone.

OH man it was shipped with the post office. Thats not good they are such a pain to file a claim with. I did talk to SS about a replacement Spidey and sorry to say they are all gone now.

The last claim I did through USPS went pretty smoothly. It was through Express Mail though so it may have been different. Still, it took about 3 weeks to get a check.

The one time I filed a claim with USPS they denied it. I am considering switching my shipping completely to UPS.

It really varies greatly, I haven't had a problem yet with USPS - and their rates are usually much better, esp internationally. UPS has been quite good too, and then ... there's FedEx. :emperor

There is no love here for USPS. I bought a Nazi Kronen from Brian K a few months back and USPS lost it. The PO where it said it was, claimed to never receive it although it was scanned and after three weeks of passing the buck, he emailed that he received just the shipping label sliced off of the box and it was lost. Then he receives it back from USPS a month later but the box was damaged beyond recognition. I own NK now, boxless because it was completely destroyed and it was a midnumbbing experience at best

I will NEVER use UPS unless I HAVE to. My brother-in-law works for them. I know how they handle packages. I've had to file once with USPS, it took awhile but I got my $$$ back in full. UPS just treats packages like they all have feathers in them. They toss them around and drop them, even run them over and don't really care. Yes they'll refund your $$$ pretty quick, but that's because they are still making plenty of money off of you.

It really all varies on where you live, but I've said it before and I'll say it again... I have gotten more beat up, damaged, stepped on, torn open, holes in the side, and flattened packages from UPS than all the others combined!!! I absolutely despise UPS and even had Sideshow switch me to all FedEx shipping!
