Original Begins cape (based on the Takara cape) on top. Hero Template cape on bottom:

I like the velvet that lforigno is using now (on left), it's less reflective. It just sucks up all light:

It's a lot shorter than the original Begins cape.

And I also I agree with you. The new velvet material is much nicer as it is not shinny and the new one absorbs light like the movie cape.

Wow. That new material really does look awesome. And the hero cut on begins really look movie accurate.. Hyped for my capes now even more..

I must have watched the latest dark knight rises trailer over 50 times by now. Looks incredible. Not much cape action so far, glad the suit hasn't changed much, has his cape changed Iforigno?

Just received my hero capes for begins and dx02, plus I have non hero dx cape from eBay . Comparison pix up soon!

All capes are still available. The hero template capes go with all figures. Then the tdk cape is only compatible with any tdk figure the begins capes is compatible with any begins figure.
